Haven't had a chance to use them but next week ill be going up to yosemite..being in san diego, i didn't wanna spend the money on snow shoes that i may never use again...pay attention to the sizing...i accidentally ordered 2xl...i wear a 9-9.5 depending on the brand...received them today...tried em on with my 9.5 nikes...and they fit but was forced...luckily i have another pair of shoes sized 9 that fit exactly...i lucked out...material wise they are what i expected if not better...as of right now i would recommend these..but after next weekend if there are any serious issues i will change my review...if im able to get a day or two out of them ill be stoked..
Used in Yosemite for two days these things worked perfect...no rips or tears..I would definitely recommend for someone like me who won’t be using them everyday for 3 months...much better alternative to buying snow boots you use 3 days out of the year
I just received these and they look as others described. Sturdy enough for those times you want to keep your feet dry, but not for everyday use (nor did I expect that). I like the flat bottom. I did measure my shoe at just under 12 inches length and ordered XXXL. I realize that I ordered it for a women's US 10.5 wide width Merrel lightweight hiking boot and they are snug due to the width. However on my regular sneaker size 10 Wide Skecher walking sneaker they are also a tight fit. But on Skecher 9.5 Wide slip on loafer type they are too big. ALL this being said - they are a great idea and product and I am giving them five stars. I will likely order another pair one size up for the heavier shoes mentioned. So just be careful to really measure the length of the shoe and take into account the width may be narrow for a bigger boot type footwear. Anyways I ordered these because I wanted something to wear to keep my feet dry on grassy birding trails and I think they will do just that.
Lets face it a puddle doesn't care that you have a 2 1/2 inch shoe over, f its raining the last thing you want to do is allow water IN your shoe, you not only ruin the shoe, but have to walk around all day with a foot that smells like a wet dog. These slip on boots not only fit over wingtips but will allow you the ability to step in most everything and not worry. This is the first thing I throw in my bag when the forecast is for rain. I am the guy smiling with dry feet ! Great product !!!
I wore a pair of these across country on my bike. Out of the 30 days on the road, half a dozen were a bit wet. Two days the whole day. Yet, these kept my feet dry the whole time and are still in very good shape. They can be wore while you walk around a bit without difficulty. Of course you do look a bit awkward, but it doesn't feel that way. But if you want to take them off it only takes a couple of minutes, but is much, much simpler if you can sit down.
These are awesome! They are not super fashionable but they serve their purpose for me. Where I live, I often have standing water in my yard after a heavy rain. I slip these on quick over my tennis shoes when I have to take the dog out to potty, check the mail, take out the trash, etc.
My only complaint is they are not high enough to tuck my pant legs into, unless I'm wearing skinny jeans or leggings. Regular pant legs come un-tucked after walking a bit. Still giving 5 stars because they are functional and I was pleased with the price.
