Three straps secure it to the bar and the stem solidly and the angle puts your phone screen just perfect so yo don't have to take your eyes completely off the road/trail to view it. Makes using Map My Ride much more useful. Plus enough room for your wallet and keys underneath. The construction so far appears solid too.
I just received this item and have used it once or twice on my bike. My iPhone six plus fits nicely, although don’t expect the ID touch to work through the see through vinyl cover. Easy to attach and remove if necessary. Plenty of space in the cubby. Nice product for the low cost.
First of all before jumping right into this product know what is the use of phone mount for bikes. This rotto bike mount is produce to enable us to see our phone without having to hold in our hands. Yes, it has been over 3 weeks i have been doing mountain biking and i never thought of seeing my phone while riding but now i has been possible with the help of this mount. I can see who is calling , can play music of my kind , gps and many more.
Talking about durability it looks and works so good. Waterproof is another plus point for this product.
Finally all i would like to say is i can use gps, play music , check riding stats and more right in front of me so that i do not have to worry about my phone flying away from my hands.
Great idea but my Samsung galaxy s10+ barely fits with the phone case. I can get it in the phone mount but it's a tight fit. Has pockets for other things. I like it. If you have an s10+ and it's in a phone case, it's gonna be a tight fit. The mount is much more secure than I expected. Touch screen still works thru plastic.
Haven't taken it in the rain but so far I'm very happy with it. I love that its actually kept zipped in a pouch so there is no way it could fall out. The screen was still not too bad to press even with my hard glass screen protector. Only con is that I wish the connectors were made out of something a little more sturdy instead of hard plastic. It doesn't seem like its going to fall off but the phone does need to be re-positioned quite often as it starts to slowly tilt downwards on the swivel and that's only on regular roads so we will see how good it holds up on bike trails. Would have gladly paid more for better connectors. But over all I'd rather have something I need to adjust over something that lets your phone pop out over a bump. I also love that there is extra space even with a case on my phone.
